☕ Meeting at Café Giardino in Barbarano di Salò
Our tour begins at the Café Giardino in Barbarano di Salò.
Salò is one of the pearls of Garda and the birthplace of Gasparo da Salò, father of world violin making. Barbarano is also known for being one of the seats of the former Italian Social Republic.
🚴 Panoramic route towards Gardone Riviera
Riding our E-Bikes, we will travel along a panoramic route that will take us to Gardone Riviera. From there, we will head inland towards the Monte Cucco district, an oasis of peace surrounded by olive trees and flowering plants. We will continue to the village of Tresnico and then reach the small town of San Michele, where next to the small 14th century church you can enjoy a panoramic terrace overlooking the gulf of Gardone Riviera.
🏞️ Towards the Paper Mill Valley
After a short break, we will travel along a panoramic road until the crossroads for Borgo Bezzuglio (UNESCO heritage). From there, immersed in single trails, we will reach Monte Maderno to arrive at the splendid Valle delle Cartiere. This natural amphitheater is known throughout the world for having started the production of paper. We will be able to see the ancient settlements and the paper museum dating back to 1300, where it will be possible to discover the secrets of the ancient paper art.
🌊 Return to the lakefront
The return will be characterized by a quiet ride along the lake. We will pass by the Vittoriale degli Italiani, the historic residence that hosted the poet Gabriele D'Annunzio for a good part of his life.
🍽️ Stop at the restaurant option
During the tour, it will be possible to make a stop at the Restaurant with View Nablus in Gardone Riviera. The tasting is not included in the E-Bike package, but it is possible to add it and pay conveniently at our partner's facility.
